MELBOURNE – Blobfish Beer Festival (12-4pm)

“Melbourne’s funkiest, wildest beer festival returns to Melbourne this August. After a sold out success in 2019, and a hiatus last year, Blobfish returns this year on a smaller scale.

The beer festival dedicated to sour, wild and funky beers returns to Melbourne this August.

On a smaller scale and in a new venue, punters will receive a festival glass and make their way around the Zymurgy beer garden, tasting some of the funkiest beers Australasia has to offer.

With a special festival menu, an oyster bar, a line up of invitational taps, and over 10 exhibiting breweries, join us for some midwinter cheer this August.

Exhibiting breweries include Wildflower, Dollar Bill, Boatrocker, Hop Nation’s Site Fermentation Project, Sailors Grave, Forest for the Trees, and more!

Session 1: Friday 6 August 5-9pm
Session 2: Saturday 7 August 12-4pm
Session 3: Saturday 7 August 5-9pm

Tickets are $40 and include entry to the festival and your Rastal Blobfish branded
festival glass. Beer will be available to purchase in tasting and glass-pour sizes. Food will also be
available to purchase. There will be a takeaway shop of beer to take home, and plenty of fun merch!

Blobfish was created and is run by the team at Hop Nation Brewing. Co-founder Sam Hambour says
“Whilst we’re sad to have to postpone our Meat Market booking again, it was just too risky. But we’re
really excited to turn our Zymurgy beer garden into a wild and funky wonderland, and throw an intimate festival with the same calibre of brewers, featuring some of the weirdest and most wonderful beers Australia has to offer.”
